As a certificated flight instructor, you can build flight experience quickly to meet airline hiring minimums. Being a certified flight instructor is a challenging and rewarding career that utilizes all you have learned during your own flight training. The Flight Instructor Training covers techniques of flight and ground instruction for all the airborne exercises, briefing techniques, presenting, teaching and learning theory.

Prerequisites

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • EASA CPL license OR EASA PPL with at least 200 hours total time, 150 hours PIC time
  • EASA Class II Medical Certificate with “IR checked” or higher
  • ICAO English Level 4 proficiency or higher
  • 300 NM PIC cross country flight with 2 full stop landings in different airports
  • 20 hours VFR PIC cross country flight
  • At least 30 hours on single-engine piston powered airplanes of which at least 5 hours shall have been completed during the 6 months preceding the pre-entry flight test
  • At least 10 hours of instrument flight on type of which max 5 hours could be conducted on FSTD

Included in the training

  • 1 hour evaluation flight on Diamond DV20
  • 30 hours of dual flight instruction on Diamond DV20
  • 1,5 hours skill test with examiner fee included
  • 100 hours theoretical course, 25 hours teaching and learning
